Emily Larson is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist, and has completed the first 2 scores for her Gold Medal.   She is currently competing Uloma MG at FEI Prix St. Georges and Intermediare I.  Her own Iceman MG, whom she has had since he was 2, is currently competing 1st and 2nd levels, with scores to 72%.  She takes a slow and steady approach to bringing horses along, and loves the training journey.

Emily believes continuing her own riding education benefits her clients immensely. She takes any opportunity to learn and has ridden with Lendon Gray, Courtney King-Dye, and Jan Ebeling, and trains regularly with Bill Warren. Emily is also a participant in the  USDF “L Program,” she believes this will enhance her riding and teaching.  Emily’s passion for teaching shows in all of her lessons, whether for the rider new to dressage or the serious competitor.

Emily’s students range from riders from other disciplines needing targeted help with their flatwork, those beginning to ride dressage, to people looking to work on their USDF medals and rider awards. Emily is based full time out of Dragonfly Equestrian in Stonington, CT. She is also available for lessons and training rides within 45 minutes of Mystic, CT. Emily regularly attends many of the rated shows in Region 8 and is available for coaching at both rated and schooling shows.
